Handmade in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK
All of my work is made from Sterling Silver sourced from Cooksongold, London. Cooksons is a subsidiary of the Heimerle + Meule Group which is one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals.
Silver items under 7.78g in weight are not legally required to be Hallmarked in the UK. So, to keep costs (and timescales) down I don't Hallmark the smaller pieces, but I do add my makers mark.
However, if you would like a guarantee of the Silver used, or to add provenance to your piece, please ask and I will happily Hallmark your purchase. This will take 2-3 weeks and will incur an additional cost. It goes without saying that if you are commissioning a bespoke piece this is something we will discuss, and the lead-time and costs will be included in your commission.
I am registered with Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office London, and have my own ESD sponsors mark (makers mark).
The Full traditional Hallmark comprises of five marks:
Traditional fineness mark
Millesimal fineness mark
Assay Office mark
Date letter mark
